Goldstich Honigwein represents exclusive quality and artisanal precision. Founded by Michael Iten in 2020, we build on over 15 years of experience in honey wine production. Our small craft winery, officially established as a GmbH in 2022, is based in the canton of Zug and operates out of Dreistand Winery in Wädenswil. Here, we produce limited-edition, premium honey wines – between 200 and 400 liters per year – made exclusively from pure Swiss honey.
Our honey comes from carefully selected Swiss beekeepers, and we place great emphasis on sustainable, regional production. Each bottle is hand-numbered to highlight its quality and exclusivity. Unlike many traditional or industrially produced meads, Goldstich Honigwein is not overly sweet. Instead, it resembles a fine white wine with a natural honey note and delicate residual sweetness. With its lightness and hints of floral and vanilla aromas, it offers a tasting experience that appeals to both traditional wine lovers and those exploring new flavor horizons.
Our honey wine pairs perfectly with a cheese platter or as the perfect close to a special evening. It also reveals its unique charm as an aperitif or when paired with spicy Asian dishes. Goldstich is best served chilled to bring out its rich, layered aromas.
