About Us
We are two friends that met in 2014. Throughout countless hikes and endless travels we have experiened many escapades, most of which have taken us on new paths and exciting descoveries. Melody Meads is certainly one of these… we have created something very different that will help propagate the taste and underlying tradition of honey wine – mead – to everyone in Switzerland.
In 2022 we began with our own honey fermentation. There were many experiments, a steep learning curve, a few failiures but also many successes.
Clear Goal
In January 2024 we founded Melody Meads GmbH with the clear goal of importing the best honey wine from all over the world to the Swiss market. Our objective is to introduce this hisoric, versatile, and nobel beverage to you all – so that you can fall in love with it the same way that we did.
The foundation of Melody Meads is only the beginning… we have many more ideas to spread the love of Mead in Switzerland. Stay tuned and enjoy a sip of the world’s oldest fermented beverage.
